Abstract

La sostenibilit? ambientale ? un concetto da sviluppare maggiormente nel settore agroalimentare per le implicazioni su suolo, acqua e biodiversit? e per l?impatto ambientale della produzione agroindustriale. Per aumentare il livello di sostenibilit? appare importante applicare un nuovo approccio, territoriale e di filiera e va an- che considerata la coerenza con gli obiettivi di sicurezza alimentare e gli effetti dei cambiamenti climatici, cio? la sfida per il settore agroalimentare ? assicurare un adeguato livello produttivo incidendo per? sul grado generale di sostenibilit? e l?autore ritiene che questo possa avvenire adottando approcci e strumenti pianificatori integrati che considerino tutte le fasi del processo produttivo lungo le filiere e nei piani di settore dell?agroalimentare.
