Giovani e anziani nel mercato del lavoro tra solidariet? e conflitto

Abstract

L?Italia rappresenta un vero e proprio "laboratorio sociale" in materia di invecchiamento. Sul fronte lavorativo, le dinamiche demografiche in corso, con i relativi effetti sulla consistenza della popolazione attiva e inattiva, mettono sotto pressione la tenuta dei rapporti intergenerazionali. Questo si lega a vari fattori, come ad esempio la segmentazione tra insider e outsider, la gravit? assunta dalla disoccupazione giovanile e il prolungamento della permanenza nel mondo del lavoro delle persone mature, a causa dell?inasprimento dei requisiti per accedere alla pensione anticipata e all?innalzamento dell?et? pensionabile. In tale scenario, l?articolo offre un?analisi della situazione dei lavoratori appartenenti a diverse fasce d?et? nel mercato del lavoro italiano, con focus rivolto ai trend occupazionali di giovani e anziani durante gli anni della crisi economica. Viene inoltre rivolta attenzione, anche in prospettiva comparata, a politiche e pratiche - tradizionali e innovative - implementate o da sviluppare nel nostro paese per favorire la coesione tra lavoratori di differenti fasce d?et?.
