Territori in transizione: una traccia per la re-invenzione del territorio

Abstract

Nella stagione di "ripartenza" che stiamo vivendo, l?errore pi? grave sarebbe di immaginare che - uscendo dal tunnel della crisi - tutto possa tornare come prima. In realt?, molte cose sono gi? cambiate e stanno cambiando, non solo per l?esperienza traumatica fatta dal 2019 ad oggi, ma anche per la forza della transizione tecnologica e ambientale in atto. Una transizione che sta indirizzando i nostri modelli di business e di vita verso forme nuove, coerenti con il paradigma emergente: il capitalismo digitale della conoscenza in rete. Un capitalismo in cui il ruolo dei territori cambia radicalmente rispetto al passato, perch? - con l?abbattimento delle distanze realizzato dalla rete digitale - la prossimit? fisica deve integrarsi con quella virtuale (che usa la connessione a distanza), mettendo insieme la scala locale con quella metropolitana e globale. Questo cambiamento di fondo rende necessario investire sul futuro e assumere rischi di cui non tutti sono in grado o sono disposti a farsi carico. Inoltre, i territori devono re-inventare la propria identit? per assumere un ruolo attrattivo nelle filiere estese con cui organizzano la propria generazione del valore. E questo richiede politiche di intervento e strategie di investimento condiviso dotate di visione, per andare oltre l?orizzonte della valorizzazione passiva delle risorse e delle identit? ereditate dal passato.
