Abstract

La dinamica competitiva nella produzione crocieristica. Aspetti di metodo ed evidenze empiriche in uno studio sul Mediterraneo (di Francesco Di Cesare, Michele Tamma) - ABSTRACT: Tra i settori considerabili nel macroinsieme dell?industria dei viaggi e del turismo quello della produzione crocieristica ha fatto registrare negli ultimi anni fenomeni quantitativi e qualitativi di tale portata da garantirgli una crescente attenzione da parte di analisti ed operatori. Il lavoro approfondisce il problema dell?analisi competitiva in un settore caratterizzato da una significativa interdipendenza strategica e operativa fra gli attori che realizzano la produzione e da arene competitive, fortemente variabili, in cui si rintracciano elementi di concorrenza multipoint. Presentando i risultati di uno studio sul bacino Mediterraneo e sul ruolo del Porto di Venezia, vengono discussi tre livelli di concorrenza (tra formule di prodotto, tra diverse aree, entro ogni singola area) e indicati gli elementi pi? significativi che possono incidere sulla dinamica futura.
