Abstract

Nela letteratura accumulatasi dopo la sua morte, mancano ancora alcuni aspetti significativi della bibliografia scientifica di Ghino Valenti. Con questo lavoro si vuole riavviare un percorso teso a stimolare nuove e pi? ampie ricerche sul personaggio. Il timing della ripresa degli studi su Valenti ? legato ai cento anni trascorsi dalla sua scomparsa, avvenuta a Roma il 20 novembre 1920. Fonte significativa per Valenti ? l?articolata e complessa eredit? di Romagonosi, il suo sapere allo stesso tempo unificante e pratico. Da esso Valenti trae l?attitudine all?indagine economica e sociale e la connessione stretta dell?economia con il diritto. Quest?ultima fa presa, soprattutto, sull?economia agraria, sulla politica economica-agraria e su quella generale.
