Verso l?armonizzazione dell?etichettatura nutrizionale fronte-pacco: NutrInform Battery come modello uniforme?

Abstract

Nel novembre 2020 il governo italiano ha adottato il marchio nutrizionale facoltativo denominato NutrInform Battery, in applicazione dell?art. 35 del reg. (UE) n. 1169/2011, relativo alla fornitura di informazioni sugli alimenti ai consumatori; questa disposizione, infatti, consente agli Stati di raccomandare agli operatori del settore alimentare l?utilizzo di forme di espressione o presentazione supplementari della dichiarazione nutrizionale, che servono ad agevolare, tramite colori o forme grafiche facilmente intellegibili, la comprensione delle propriet? nutrizionali degli alimenti da parte del consumatore. Nel presente lavoro, dopo aver illustrato le principali caratteristiche del logo NutrInform Battery, nonch? la posizione della Commissione europea sull?uso delle forme di espressione supplementari della dichiarazione nutrizionale, ci si interrogher? sulla fattibilit? del logo italiano come modello armonizzato di etichettatura fronte-pacco e pi? in generale sulla sua effettiva idoneit? a supportare scelte alimentari pi? sane e consapevoli.
