Note: [English Title] CURRENCY SUBSTITUTION: REASONS AND IMPACTS [English Abstract] In this study, the currency substitution problem in developing countries will be examined on theoretical base only. The tracliteral approaches seem invalid when the currency substition problem is taken into account and the causality link between the level of currency substition and the macroeconomic variables also promises to be a good guide for the analysis of liberalization process of developing countries.
