Note: [English Title] AN EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTS OF GATT 1994 AGREEMENT ON THE WORLD TEXTILE AND CLOTHING SECTORS [English Abstract] In this work, new arrangements put forth by the GATT'94 on world textile and clothing sectors is discussed. In the first section an evaluation of the Multifibre Arrangement (1974) is made. It is followed by an analysis of the major elements of the GATT'94 Textile and Clothing Agreement. In the third section, problems likely to occur following the implementation of the Agreament are revealed. The last section, consists of a general evaluation that encompasses the textile sector of our country. [English Keywords] Not available
