Note: [English Title] Privatization: ls The Problem Solely Efficiency? [English Abstract] lt's seen that the debates on privatization usually focus on efficiency. Since the effects of privatization in general is analyzed as the problem of efficiency at micro level, the effects of foreign ownership resulted from privatization on technological capability and the nature of R and D activities of firms are ignored. In this paper it will be related foreign ownership to the nature of technological activities. This new approach to privatization is to call attention to the effects of foreign ownership on the structure of local technological activities. [English Keywords] Not available
