Note: [English Title] Determination of the Institutionalization Level of Businesses: (Rolling Plants) Example of Karabuk Iron-Steel Sector [English Abstract] In this study, the current situation of institutionalization of businesses currently active in Iron-Steel sector in Karabuk. Businesses were investigated in terms of the management’s view point of institutionalization, problems experienced, and the extent to which they are affected by the changes in businesses. It was aimed to light the way for the studies on this subject and to the efforts made by the businesses in Iron-Steel sector. Evaluations were done by content analysis. Most of the businesses in Iron-Steel Sector in Karabuk think that a business should have an institutional structure to have a sustainable business success. The results of the study show that businesses have a high level of consciousness for the necessity of institutionalization of a business. Besides, the study showed that it is important to develop standards and targets and have the employees adopt them. [English Keywords] Level of Institutionalization, Iron Steel Sector, Karabuk.
