Note: [English Title] Not available [English Abstract] The concepts such as ejjiciency and productivity have become vitaly important in banking sector whose reseources are limited. In the economic development of any country, banking seetar is in the central position. If a banking system cannot transfer its saving into productive investments, then it is impossible to state that such a system is efficient and productive. In this paper, the efficiency and productivity of Turkish Banking Sector and of 44 banks in Turkey are measured for the period I999 - 200I with 7 inputs and only I output by employing data envelope analysis.
