El trabajo por cuenta propia a la luz de la realidad cubana: Sus tendencias y desafíos en el siglo XXI

Abstract

El trabajo presentado brinda algunas reflexiones acerca del mundo del trabajo y su comportamiento en la sociedad cubana contemporánea del siglo XXI. Las formas de gestión no estatal desde el año 2011, conforman de conjunto con el sector estatal de economía y otras formas de propiedad un nuevo panorama en lo que a política de empleo, salarios e ingresos concierne. El objetivo del trabajo es reflexionar sobre el trabajo por cuenta propia, como una vía de empleo de nuevo tipo, considerando su comportamiento, tendencias y desafíos. como resultado se sustenta que este tipo de empleo ha ocu-pado un espacio fundamental dentro de las formas de gestión y producción y ha contribuido de forma significativa, a la ocupación y obtención de ingresos de buena parte de los ciudadanos cubanos, como parte de las transformaciones que la actualización del modelo de desarrollo económico y social respal da en los últimos años.
