Revisión teórica de la relevancia de las nuevas tecnologías de la comunicación (TIC) en el sector turístico

Abstract

Las actividades de innovación están muy presentes en el sector turístico, destacando el desarrollo tecnológico y el ámbito digital como principales avances que permitirán a estos sectores continuar con su gran importancia a nivel mundial. De esta manera, las nuevas tecnologías de la comunicación (TIC) han transformado la forma en que los turistas planifican, reservan y viven sus experiencias, provocando así grandes oportunidades en la comercialización. De esta manera se ha considerado oportuno la realización de una revisión bibliográfica sobre la relevancia de las TIC en el sector turístico referidos a los temas más relevantes en este ámbito como son el comercio electrónico, los medios sociales, las TIC en los ciclos de viaje y el marketing móvil, estableciendo así unas conclusiones generales y futuras líneas de investigación.
