Identificación riesgos en destinos turísticos: el primer paso para incrementar la resiliencia

Abstract

El sector turístico es susceptible a numerosas variables desestabilizantes ya sean internas o externas al sistema. La identificación y valoración de dichas variables es indispensable para la reducción de vulnerabilidad de los destinos turísticos y el incremento de la resiliencia a posteriori. El presente trabajo constituye el primer paso para identificar los agentes desestabilizantes en el destino turístico y patrimonial Parque Nacional Machalila (Ecuador) con miras a contribuir en el proceso del incremento de la resiliencia del destino. Este estudio adopta un enfoque exploratorio cualitativo en el cual el extenso análisis documental y la inclusión de las voces de los participantes activos del sector turístico del destino bajo estudio son clave y determinantes para la identificación de los posibles riesgos.
