Propuesta de actividades ecoturísticas en zonas RAMSAR: el caso del Humedal La Tembladera, provincia de El Oro

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad describir atractivos eco-turísticos en zonas RAMSAR mediante una propuesta de actividades en el humedal La Tembladera, en la provincia de El Oro, Ecuador. La investigación es de tipo exploratorio-descriptivo, se utilizó como instrumento la entrevista y guías de observación aplicadas a las personas que gestionan el Humedal. Los trabajos de campo se realizaron en diferentes periodos de tiempoo. En el primer periodo se realizaron caminatas; en otro periodo se realizaron recorridos de ciclismo y final se levantó información del recorrido de kayak. Cada grupo estaba integrado por estudiantes de la carrera de Hotelería y Turismo de la UTMACH con el acompañamiento de guías locales. La información para el diseño de las rutas se obtuvo mediante la toma de puntos con la utilización de GPS. Los resultados obtenidos fueron el desarrollo de tres mapas para la propuesta de rutas para: ciclismo, kayak y trekking. Finalmente con la ayuda de las tres rutas se elaboró el mapa general de las actividades turísticas. Todas estas propuestas permitirán el fomento del turismo rural y el mejoramiento económico de las condiciones de vida de los pobladores del Humedal La Tembladera.
