Abstract

El presente estudio se centra en la temática del capital social en el contexto de las unidades de conservación, como prerrogativa de fomento al desarrollo local y del turismo ligado a la participación popular, a partir de los elementos de cooperación, confianza, reciprocidad y participación cívica en lo que conciernen a las relaciones sociales. De esta forma, el objetivo central de esta investigación consiste en discutir la dinámica del desarrollo local en unidades de conservación aliado a la actividad turística, caracterizándose en un ensayo teórico elaborado a partir de investigaciones bibliográficas y en medios electrónicos pautado en estudiosos como Sen, Putnam, Diegues, Santos entre otros investigadores fundamentales para la construcción de esta discusión.
