A animação em contexto hoteleiro: o caso do Hotel Vila Porto Mare (Ilha da Madeira/Portugal)

Abstract

A animação é um componente fundamental de um destino turístico, pois estimula os turistas a participar em atividades que se pretendem únicas e diferenciadoras de determinado destino. Com o aumento da exigência e da experiência dos turistas, estes não procuram apenas um empreendimento hoteleiro pela sua acomodação, preferindo os empreendimentos que oferecem um produto que os diferencie das outras unidades hoteleiras, nomeadamente com os seus programas de animação. A presente reflexão pretende demonstrar a importância da animação nos empreendimentos hoteleiros, através do exemplo do Departamento de Animação do Hotel Vila Porto Mare na Ilha da Madeira (Portugal).
