Abstract

La muy difundida y casi universalmente bien valorada por la comunidad de expertos en turismo, sobre todo por los sociólogos, antropólogos y filósofos The Tourist Gaze (2002, 2004) es objeto de una serie de consideraciones críticas por parte de Maximiliano Korstange y Francisco M. de Escalona, crítica que destaca el uso de conceptos tan novedoso como arbitrarios como miradas, liquideces, reflexividad turísticas, unas veces movido por un afán desmedido de originalidad y otras por la propensión al uso de vocablos que a fuer de personales no dejan de ser oscuros, innecesariamente oscuros.
