Turismo Comunitario. Anã Lisis De La Demanda En Santiago (Cabo Verde)

Abstract

El turismo comunitario, basado en la gestión y planificación del mismo por parte de la comunidad es visto como una fórmula de desarrollo endógeno que puede reducir la pobreza en determinadas áreas. El objetivo de este trabajo es explorar las posibilidades de desarrollar el turismo comunitario en la isla de Santiago (Cabo Verde).Para alcanzar dicho objetivo se analizan los principales recursos turísticos de esta zona y se presentan los resultados de un trabajo de campo sobre la opinión y percepción que tienen los turistas respecto a la calidad como la potencialidad de los servicios y recursos turísticos. Los principales resultados muestran que el grado de satisfacción del turista es muy bueno y que lo más valorado es la hospitalidad, aspecto elemental para el desarrollo del turismo comunitario.
