Abstract

El sector de las agencias de viajes español está sufriendo en los últimos años una importantísima transformación. El número de agencias se ha visto reducido de manera drástica y la composición de la industria también se ha visto alterada. Por otra parte, cada vez es mayor el número de agencias online que desplazan a aquellas que realizan su labor de intermediación de una manera tradicional. No sólo en número sino también atendiendo a la cuota de mercado. El presente artículo además de presentar una aproximación al criterio de división entre agencias tradicionales y online, ofrece una perspectiva de la actual composición y reciente evolución del sector.
