Abstract

No son pocos los estudios acerca de cómo deben ser los directivos de las empresas y qué requisitos o características deben de tener para ocupar cargos de dirección y aun más, llegar a ser líderes. La personalidad de los dirigentes ocupa un lugar importante en este sentido, teniendo en consideración que todos los individuos portan características peculiares que son reflejadas en la esfera administrativa y que pueden facilitar o entorpecer este proceso. Son vitales las relaciones interpersonales, los estilos de comunicación, la responsabilidad, el autocontrol, confianza en si mismo, adaptación a los cambios, resolución de conflictos y otros elementos que constituyen hoy lo que damos en llamar competencias emocionales y que tienen repercusión en la conformación de un clima socio psicológico favorable dentro de la organización.
