Análisis del nivel de comprensión lectora en alumnos de la carrera de contador público: caso UAMZH - UASLP

Abstract

El tema de la lectura y comprensión no es un tema nuevo. Al paso de los años han ido surgiendo nuevas estrategias de enseñanza que ayudan a comprender la lectura y es un tema que cada vez adquiere mayor importancia, ya que es la base de la formación académica de una persona. Si no existe comprensión lectora no se logrará un desempeño académico favorable. Por lo anterior, el principal objetivo de la presente investigación ha sido la aplicación de un instrumento de evaluación de la comprensión lectora que permitió identificar el nivel de esta habilidad con el que cuentan los estudiantes de la carrera de Contador Público en la Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Zona Huasteca de la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí. Como principal resultado se obtuvo que aproximadamente el 62% de los alumnos evaluados se ubican entre el 10 y el 29% de comprensión del contenido del texto leído; un resultado bastante preocupante y que requiere la implementación de estrategias y acciones remediales en el corto plazo.
