Desgaste Profesional (Burnout) En Relación Con La Satisfacción Laboral En El Área De Ingeniería

Abstract

La presente investigación muestra la relación entre la satisfacción laboral (SL) y el Desgaste profesional conocido también como Síndrome de Burnout (SB), en una organización manufacturera del ramo maquilador automotriz, siendo uno de los proveedores más grandes de dicha industria a nivel global. Esta investigación es principalmente un estudio correlacional. El diseño de la investigación es no experimental porque no cambia el comportamiento o el medio donde laboran las personas. Es un estudio transaccional porque está tomado en un tiempo determinado. Como instrumentos de medición se aplicaron dos cuestionarios a 98 ingenieros de diferentes áreas, para medir el desgaste profesional, el cuestionario Marlach Burnout Inventory que se traduce al español como cuestionario de validación del síndrome Burnout, el cual se referirá en este documento como MBI y el cuestionario satisfacción laboral S20/23 de José L Meliá y Peiró. El estudio correlativo de los tres niveles, presentó una relación débil entre la variable despersonalización (SB) y la realización personal en el empleo (SL). Los resultados obtenidos sugieren que los ingenieros actualmente presentan un bajo nivel de SB, ya que el 89% de los encuestados se siente realizado personalmente.
