Efecto Del Ajo (Allium Sativum) Sobre El Crecimiento De Algunas Especies De Hongos

Abstract

Se estudiaron algunas de las propiedades del Extracto Concentrado Fresco del Ajo (ECFA), (Allium sativum), así como su efecto inhibitorio sobre algunas especies de hongos, encontrando que algunos de los factores que modifican la actividad antifúngica son: la dilución del ECFA, la temperatura de incubación, concentración de proteína, vida media y su tratamiento con carbón activado. Con respecto a los análisis de inhibición del crecimiento, se encontró que todas las especies analizadas fueron susceptibles al ECFA, entre los que destacan: Histoplasma capsulatum, Coccidioides immitis, Exophiala dermatitidis, Paracoccidioides brasiliensis, Cryptococcus neoformans, Candida albicans, así como diferentes especies de Aspergillus.
