EFECTO DEL TEPESCOHUITE (Mimosa tenuiflora poir) SOBRE EL CRECIMIENTO DE ALGUNAS ESPECIES DE HONGOS

Abstract

Se estudió el efecto de diferentes presentaciones comerciales del tepescohuite sobre el crecimiento de diferentes especies de dermatofitos y levaduras del género Candida. Los resultados obtenidos indican que las diferentes presentaciones del producto, no tienen ningún efecto antimicótico en las cepas analizadas, lo cual es controversial con algunos reportes. Cabe mencionar, que tal vez los diferentes productos no sean originales, o que no tengan las propiedades que se le atribuyen.
