Utilización De La Espectroscopia Raman Para Caracterización De Displasias Provenientes Del Cuello Uterino

Abstract

Los diagnósticos clínicos de células provenientes del cuello uterino son muy importantes debido a que es la segunda causa de cáncer. En este estudio se evalúa el potencial de la espectroscopia Raman para la detección de displasia, la cual es un precursor del cáncer. Las muestras colectadas de células provenientes del cuello uterino fueron analizadas por patología y al mismo tiempo por espectroscopia Raman. Los métodos histológicos tradicionales requieren de reactivos y de una preparación especial de la muestra, en cambio, la espectroscopia Raman es una técnica óptica que no requiere de reactivos químicos y nos proporciona información de la composición bioquímica de la muestra, de tal forma que las bandas Raman obtenidas de una señal espectral puede indicarnos la presencia de proteínas, aminoácidos y lípidos.
