Antecedentes Y Consideraciones Para La Conservación Del Patrimonio Cultural En El Siglo Xxi

Abstract

El concepto de patrimonio cultural del hombre del siglo XXI, es consecuencia directa del racionalismo y empirismo del siglo XVIII. Derivado de esto, la conservación y restauración se desarrollan durante estos siglos, apoyadas en la ciencia y tecnología; a pesar de la incongruencia con la naturaleza misma de la obra de arte, más antropológica, sociológica, artística y humanística. En este artículo se habla de cómo se gesta el concepto de patrimonio cultural por el hombre del siglo XVIII y XIX, cómo es el paso de las colecciones reales a los museos, con la socialización que conlleva, y cómo éste proceso influye en la conciencia del hombre contemporáneo que a partir de ahora se preocupa por temas relacionados con la conservación, los conceptos de restauración, la ciencia aplicada a las intervenciones en el patrimonio cultural, el arte intangible, y un nuevo concepto de multidisciplinariedad e interdisciplinariedad, sin los cuales ya no se comprende en la actualidad el quehacer de la conservación y restauración.
