Guía Para Seleccionar Intercambiadores De Calor

Abstract

En la presente guía se describe, en forma general, cómo efectuar la selección del tipo de intercambiador de calor más adecuado, basándose en la superficie de transferencia estimada de un intercambiador de carcasa y tubos ya que éstos son los más importantes y numerosos en la industria. La selección del tipo de intercambiador de calor que mejor se ajusta al servicio de interés, se basa exclusivamente en consideraciones técnicas y económicas, que fijan la opción ganadora en términos de servicio prolongado y satisfactorio con menores costos iniciales y de operación. Hay casi un número ilimitado de alternativas en la selección de equipos de transferencia de calor para un determinado proceso, pero solo uno es el mejor diseño.
