Abstract

La universidad en la época actual está siendo llamada cada vez más a ejercer su rol como institución que cobija el pináculo del más elevado y pertinente conocimiento que demanda la sociedad. La naturaleza de los contenidos que tipifican el modo de actuación profesional universitario demanda altos niveles de ayudas pedagógicas, donde la labor del profesor-tutor se constituye un factor indispensable para el éxito en el ingreso, progreso y egreso de los futuros profesionales. Ello justifica el abordaje de aspectos relacionados con la figura del tutor, las estrategias de capacitación docente para elevar el desempeño en la gestión de las estrategias tutoriales en la universidad actual.
