Abstract

Este estudio[1] tiene la finalidad de evaluar el instrumento con que se determina el deseo diferido por obtener un título profesional en los padres de los estudiantes de la Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Zona Media (UAMZM) de la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP), así como la frustración por no obtener el mismo. Se aplicó el análisis factorial, una técnica estadística multivariante al instrumento conformado por 21 ítems agrupados en dos variables latentes, deseo diferido y frustración. Con la prueba efectuada se logró identificar cuatro dimensiones que son realización profesional, frustración, nostalgia y deseo diferido, así como también se disminuyó a 17 la cantidad de ítems, generando un instrumento robusto que permite obtener mejor información de una manera clara, sencilla y eficiente.
