La sociedad del conocimiento y los cuatro pilares de la educación en las instituciones de educación superior de México

Abstract

Educación y sociedad del conocimiento y los cuatro pilares de la educación, muestran una gran oportunidad de generar y difundir el aprendizaje en el contexto global, posibilitando la educación superior a través de la implementación de competencias como la base de la nueva educación. Las competencias son demandadas por el sector productivo, quien transita por mercados altamente competitivos derivado del contexto global en el que opera. Ello implica la teoría de la Sociedad del Conocimiento en la cual se establece que a través de esta etapa del desarrollo de la sociedad; el conocimiento es el mayor productor de plusvalía y por lo tanto, el medio más indicado para la generación de la riqueza, ya que es a través del conocimiento en donde más valor se obtiene y lo que diferencia a las economías desarrolladas de las subdesarrolladas.
