La unidad doméstica como unidad económica en las empresas familiares

Abstract

El presente trabajo1 es la parte de un estudio amplio realizado a empresas familiares en la zona Laja-Bajío en el año del 2011, con una muestra de 343 entrevistas aplicadas a dueños y/o encargados de un negocio familiar. Se ha buscado integrar toda la información e identificar las características sobre las empresas familiares, fijándose en la relación unidad económica y unidad doméstica bajo la pregunta ¿Dónde se realiza la actividad de la empresa familiar? a la cual se hace una aproximación a las problemáticas implícitas de esta cuestión, que pretende saber si realizan las actividades empresariales en su casa-habitación, o bien si es en un establecimiento acoplado para la actividad, si ese establecimiento es considerado propio o rentado. Dado que se ha considerado necesario examinar las condiciones en que se encuentran las empresas familiares para tener el mejor diagnostico posible y poder hacer propuestas estratégicas en gestión y políticas públicas más adecuadas.
