Abstract

El proceso de globalización mundial ha puesto en crisis a las pequeñas y medianas empresas de México, por su falta de competitividad y limitación de recursos. La empresa en este país se enfrenta al reto de internacionalizarse, pues la globalización de los mercados no solo implica competir en mercados externos, sino hacerlo en mercados internos ante empresas extranjeras. Esto justifica la imperiosa necesidad de concebir un modelo alternativo de desarrollo más incluyente, que permita conservar la identidad cultural, el patrimonio histórico y los recursos biológicos en el contexto global.
