Abstract

Este documento no tiene la pretensión de ubicarse en la línea de los estudios territoriales, aunque si otorga un fuerte énfasis a la importancia de lo regional al analizar las experiencias de fomento y promoción de la ciencia y la tecnología. Este enfoque permite ubicar en un mejor plano a un amplio conjunto de propuestas teóricas que se enmarcan en la economía del cambio tecnológico, que son muy útiles para la comprensión de las articulaciones existentes entre la producción y la innovación pero que al pretender una aplicación concreta resultan extremadamente generales.
