Evolución de la competitividad en los países emergentes. Un estudio comparativo

Abstract

Durante las décadas de los años 80 y 90 se suscitaron en el mundo fuertes transformaciones económicas sobre todo para cierto tipo de países cuyos regímenes sociopolíticos se encontraban ligados a la participación del Estado en materia del desarrollo. Dos regiones que atravesaron por esta situación han sido Europa Central y América Latina; lugares del mundo que se consideran relevantes para el desarrollo mundial. La finalidad del documento es mostrar la evolución respecto a la competitividad, y en otros indicadores asociados, de ambas regiones para observar las diferencias en su posicionamiento.
