Contexto político y socio-histórico del profesorado en Chile. Análisis desde su identidad

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza el rol de las políticas educativas y de la organización docente en los procesos de conformación de las identidades del profesorado, entre el periodo de la consolidación del Estado Docente, y la actualidad. La identidad docente es un constructo multidimensional, que va mutando en la medida en que el profesorado va atravesando diferentes escenarios sociales, políticos e históricos. Se trata de un artículo de revisión documental. El desarrollo de este artículo muestra que el profesorado se ha constituido como un actor muy diverso, por lo que no es posible referirse a una sola identidad. Esas diferencias tensionan identidades funcionarias, técnicas, académicas, de autonomía, colectivas, profesionales, entre otras, que conviven simultáneamente y se construyen de forma dialéctica con los contextos. El artículo sugiere a futuras investigaciones observar la relación entre identidades y trayectorias docentes.
