Abstract

Dada la relevancia de los procesos de evaluación y acreditación de la educación superior, y toda vez, que los organismos que se encargan en México de su realización, son de índole privada, resulta de vital importancia establecer los mecanismos legales que regulen dichos procesos, para un más eficaz funcionamiento de estos y de los organismos creados para su supervisión. El marco legal es sin duda el punto de referencia más importante de cualquier organismo, con mayor razón cuando hablamos de estos procesos que inciden de manera tan significativa en la educación superior.
