Representaciones Sociales De La Alimentación Escolar: La Imágen Como Configurador De Sentido

Abstract

El presente artículo plantea la importancia de las imágenes en la construcción de las representaciones sociales de la alimentación. Con el objetivo de comprender la cultura alimenticia de la comunidad educativa Cristóbal Colon de Cereté, Córdoba, desde la mirada de las representaciones sociales. La metodología es de corte cualitativo-hermenéutico, con una muestra intencional definida por 9 estudiantes, 5 docentes y 5 padres de familia. Los instrumentos utilizados: observación participante, revisión documental, entrevista, cuestionario, mapas mentales y fotografías. Los resultados indican que las representaciones sociales de la alimentación están asociadas a los componentes de la salud, nutrición, energía y vida, lo que demuestra que están posicionados en el paradigma de las ciencias naturales, la cual orienta la conducta alimentaria, dándole sentido y significado a su realidad social.
