Potencial De Energía Eólica En San Antonio De Oriente, Honduras, Centro América

Abstract

El presente artículo científico muestra la estimación de la potencia útil y energía en el Municipio de San Antonio de Oriente, Francisco Morazán, Honduras, a partir de las las series de tiempo que ofrece la NASA GEOVANNI sobre la velocidad del viento en m/s a una altura de 10 m de referencia, realizado a partir de los datos de 2010 a 2016 y con la construcción de la distribución de densidad de Weibull, así como de las distribuciones acumuladas, el uso de la estadística descriptiva para el establecimiento de las constantes de forma y escala. Se logró obtener el potencial del emplazamiento 43.88 así como del nivel de energía que se puede producir al año 384.41 . El trabajo se realizó en forma personal y presente mostrar una brecha para que se pueda considerar la generación utilizando recursos renovables en Honduras.
