Elementos educativos y socioculturales en la construcción de un proyecto de vida

Abstract

En el artículo hace un análisis de los elementos educativos y socio-culturales en la construcción de un proyecto de vida en estudiantes del último grado de educación media en Colombia. Se hizo un trabajo de campo con tres estamentos (estudiantes, padres de familia y representantes escolares: docentes, equipo directivo–administrativo), de los cuales se extrajo información cualitativa y cuantitativa de dos categorías: elementos educativos y proyecto de vida. Los resultados evidencian que no hay claridad en cuanto a la estructura y construcción de un proyecto de vida, y entre los elementos educativos se evidencian acuerdos en que los docentes mostraron iniciativas en adelantar procesos de sensibilización en los educandos para que construyeran su proyecto de vida. Sin embargo, el contexto sociocultural no favorece la continuidad de las iniciativas profesorales. Esto permite concluir que es necesario que escuela, familia y comunidad unifiquen criterios, diseñen estrategias e implementen acciones efectivas, encaminadas a la madurez emocional y al desarrollo pleno de la identidad en los educandos.
