Caracterização sedimentologia e arquitetura do delta do tipo Gilbert de bom Jesus

Abstract

O objectivo deste trabalho e o etudo da fácies, associações de fáceis, contexto paleoambiental, e estratigráfico de uma secção deltaica, procurando estabelecer-se a relação, entre paleoambiente e potenciais jazigos, para a produção de materiais de construção. A conjugação das duas metodologias de terreno como espessura, inclinação dos sets, mergulho (35º), a estruturas sedimentares, conjugadas com as análises granulométricas, que demonstram em primeiro lugar, que existe uma grande variabilidade na distribuição das populações granulométricas, facto que reflecte a variedade da energia nesses ambientes deposicionais, o que permitiu a caracterização de um ambiente fluvio-deltaico do tipo Gilbert.
