Adquisición diferenciada del capital cultural en estudiantes universitarios mexicanos

Abstract

La presente ponencia da cuenta de cómo el capital cultural de estudiantes que ingresan a la Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas se ha construido de manera diferenciada, en virtud de sus condiciones de origen: Familiares, escolares, socioeconómicas y culturales. La divergencia regional en el estado de Chiapas-México es tal, que cuando los estudiantes pretenden estudiar en la universidad, sus aspiraciones de ingreso a una licenciatura se ven limitadas por sus condiciones educativas, las cuales son producto, fundamentalmente, de su origen de clase y condiciones socioeconómicas. La metodología utilizada es cualitativo-estructuralista y se utilizará como técnica de investigación los grupos de discusión.
