Orientación vocacional sustentada en la pedagogía crítica. Universidad de Antioquia: una tarea para el occidente del departamento de Antioquia

Abstract

En el presente artículo aporta las pautas para el análisis del cómo se sustenta desde la Pedagogía Crítica la orientación vocacional en el Departamento de Occidente de Antioquía. Este es un resultado de investigación del Grupo GUIATE, que trabajan la orientación vocacional con un sustento desde los postulados de Freyre, McLaren y Giroux. Esto posibilita que los autores declaren los sustentos de la educación no formal desde la Pedagogía Crítica y cómo esta interactúa con la orientación vocacional, para de esta manera lograr a través de la encuesta y la entrevista arribar a la conclusión de que: es necesario realizar un análisis crítico de los programas de orientación vocacional que se implementan y al mismo tiempo planear y realizar acciones encaminadas a implementar programas que permitan a los jóvenes realizar sus proyectos de vida mediante el acceso a programas académicos pertinentes.
