Actitud de la escuela y su relación con la diversidad de género. Un reto a considerar

Abstract

La diversidad de género es un reto de la educación del siglo XXI. En la medida que se haga consciente a los sistemas educativos de la necesidad de tener esta categoría en cuenta a la hora de diseñar una educación postmoderna más inclusiva y desprovista de perjuicios se habrá salvado la brecha entre claustro homofóbicos y estudiantes con manifestaciones en el travestismo, homosexualismo o transgénero, como expresiones del derecho a la sexualidad individual. Este es un tema a debate, con apuntes rudimentarios, que puede insertarse en el contexto de análisis de los gremios académicos que direccionan las políticas educativas en Ecuador. Para ello el autor aborda desde las diferentes facetas la problemática y da luces de las potenciales direcciones de transformación de la actitud que hoy tiene la escuela ecuatoriana frente a la diversidad de género.
