Sistematización teórico-metodológica relacionada con la calidad del examen intrasemestral de la asignatura Genética Médica

Abstract

El objetivo esencial del presente artículo científico se haya en caracterizar la calidad del examen de la asignatura Genética Médica, aplicado a los estudiantes de segundo año de la carrera de Medicina. Para ello se seleccionó una muestra intencionada de 98 exámenes aplicados en convocatoria ordinaria. Se entrevistaron a cinco especialistas y se aplicó un cuestionario a treinta estudiantes, para obtener información del instrumento aplicado. Se analizó la estructura del examen, la correspondencia del fondo de tiempo y la cantidad de ítems explorados, el índice de dificultad, el coeficiente de correlación del punto biserial y el Alfa de Cronbach. Se evidenció una correlación moderada entre el tiempo dedicado a cada tema y los ítems explorados, Citogenética y Aberraciones cromosómicas fue el tema más representado y de mayor dificultad, el índice de dificultad del examen fue de 0,68, la pregunta tres alcanzó una discriminación pobre y fue la más fácil según su índice de dificultad.
