Abstract

El profesional en Trabajo Social en su accionar incorpora diferentes metodologías que permiten la intervención social en las personas que presentan diferentes problemáticas en indoles como salud, educación, asuntos laborales, familiares, personales entre otros; por lo que, el objetivo de esta investigación consistió en analizar el rol del Trabajador Social en los procesos de ayudas técnicas del Programa de Discapacidad del Ministerio de Salud Pública. El desarrollo de esta investigación, se fundamentó con un enfoque cualitativo, se utilizó el método bibliográfico y descriptivo, se aplicó la técnica de la entrevista y como instrumento la guía de entrevista, dirigida al profesional del departamento de calificación de discapacidad del distrito de salud Andrés de Vera del cantón Portoviejo.
