Prácticas sociales de salud y folclor médico comunitario. El caso de la comunidad de “Nápolesâ€

Abstract

En Cuba el proceso de conformación de la nacionalidad condujo a la formación de patrones básicos en cuanto a orígenes, idiomas, características físicas y biológicas, sin embargo esto no implica una homogeneidad en nuestra forma de actuar en cuanto a costumbres, ideologías o prácticas de salud de cualquier índole. El presente trabajo pretende hacer un acercamiento al proceso de forja de patrones de comportamientos de salud, a partir de un análisis desde algunos presupuestos teóricos-metodológicos brindados desde la sociología, indagando en los componentes del sistema de cuidados de salud el cual está determinado a su vez por la manera en que la población interpreta las enfermedades en cuanto a las causas que la provocan y por consiguiente la atención que recibirán ante ella.
