La medicina tradicional como práctica social en el marco del sistema de cuidados de salud

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se analizan, a partir de algunos postulados socioantropológicos, aspectos importantes relacionados con prácticas sociales de salud existentes en la población a la hora de enfrentar las enfermedades, específicamente el uso de medicina tradicional, debido al alto grado de aceptación y aplicación en la población, para brindar elementos que permitan trazar estrategias de intervención en salud cada vez más integradas a las culturas locales en cada territorio.
