Funciones y protocolos del trabajador social en la atención a usuarios en centros de cuidados del adulto mayor

Abstract

Uno de los campos de mayor demanda del trabajador social es el realizado en el sector de bienestar social, donde su responsabilidad es intervenir para proponer cambios que den soluciones a los conflictos de la sociedad; es decir, se forma para interpretar los retos y problemas de grupos sociales. El presente estudio investigativo, tiene como objetivo analizar las funciones y protocolos del trabajador social en la atención a usuarios en centros de cuidados del adulto mayor. Se utilizó una metodología de tipo descriptiva - exploratoria, no experimental, con enfoque cuantitativo; así mismo, se requirió el uso del método bibliográfico para el sustento teórico de las variables en estudio, y método estadístico que permitió procesar la información obtenida.
