Perspectivas críticas sobre la prohibición de sembrar semillas no certificadas: un estudio crítico desde la soberanía alimentaria

Abstract

El artículo estudia el papel clave de las obtenciones vegetales como eje de la industria agroalimentaria y los impactos del régimen de regulación de las semillas certificadas, el cual complementa la normativa que incentiva las nuevas variedades vegetales. Se reflexiona desde una metodología analítica-inductiva sobre fuentes doctrinales y normativas acerca de la situación de los campesinos, quienes ven vulnerados sus derechos a la soberanía alimentaria, vida digna y a un trabajo. Como aporte, se traen a colación varios postulados doctrinales que buscan redimensionar esta situación, particularmente tras concluir el Paro Nacional Agrario de 2013 donde los campesinos hicieron visible su situación.
